GSA Golf: Advanced Camera systems

Note that these systems - CX3c, CX4 and CX6 - are advanced dual color camera system that require their own separate PCs

If you are not prepared to invest this time and/or don't have sufficient technical abilities

The CX3 C system is the same as the above CX3 system but uses a single color club tracking camera

to detect fades, draws, hooks and slices.

Data captured with the single HD club tracking color camera:

Club face angle

Club path and speed are derived from ball speed and ball path

Vcam and Hcam cameras measure ball launch angle, speed and path.

Note that the color camera can be switched to detect tracking dots - as in the standard CX3 - if preferred.

Q: What is the difference between CX3 and CX3c ?

A: CX3 uses a monochrome IR club tracking camera that detects club face angle, club path and speed but requires 2 tracking dots to be applied to the top surface of the club to do this.

CX3c - the "c" stands for "Color" uses a color camera with a flash that detects club face angle with a single freeze frame image.

Note that a white strip will probably have to be applied to clubs that don't provide sufficient contrast to the underlying surface.

CX3c calculates club path and speed from ball path and speed. For measured club path and speed, an extra 4th camera is required.

This system is known as the CX4
