Drapes are 16oz to 20oz heavy, light and sound absorbing drapes, fire retardant - napped both sides for a smooth velvety feel

with hems and track grommets.

Drape weight:

Drape ounce weight is the weight of a 1 square yard of the drape

e.g. a 10 x 9 (30 sq yards) 20oz drape would weigh 37.5 lbs.

e.g. a 10 x 9 (30 sq yards) 16oz drape would weigh 30 lbs.

Thus our industrial iron strength tracks are required

Drape Folds

Drape fullness

If folds are required, then the drape width ordered should be around 25% to 50% more than what the desired end width is required.

e.g. if you want a 8ft wide drape with 50% fullness folds, then you would have to order a 12 ft wide drape

e.g. if you want a 8ft wide drape with 25% fullness folds, then you would have to order a 10 ft wide drape

Pleats

Drapes can be ordered with or without pleats and in various colors

Note: if sewn in pleats are required, then the drape width ordered should be double what the desired end width is required.

e.g. if you want a 10ft wide drape with pleats, then you would have to order a 20 ft wide drape

This enclosure uses wood carpet transition trim to hide the track hardware.

They are long enough and heavy enough that I neither have to use weights at the bottom, nor any other reinforcement at the sides.

Nothing gets past them. I have cars parked adjacent to the curtains on both sides and there is no need to further protect the cars -

The ceiling drape is suspended by the side drape tracks and the sag will absorb any high lofted ball impacts and thus protect the ceiling

Ceiling drapes are made 2ft wider than your screen width to allow for sag adjustment and track covering.

! Please note: this ceiling drape is not attached to the hooks and rollers in the tracks and thus is not retractable!

The ceiling drape is sandwiched in between the tracks and the ceiling

Awning drape

Hanging drape Awning/Canopy

A simple, inexpensive but effective awning is to hang 1 or 2 foot or so wide pocket heavy drape along the front

and optionally on the sides from the ceiling around the enclosure.

Use conduit pipe or drape rod clamped to the ceiling to suspend the drape

How to mount the ceiling drape

Ceiling drapes are made 2ft wider than your screen width to allow for sag adjustment and track covering.

The ceiling drape is sandwiched in between track and the ceiling.

To do this, first mount the tracks loosely to the ceiling using just two screws at both ends of a 5ft length of track..

Note that the drape tracks come in 5ft or smaller lengths so you will doing this in 2 stages if your ceiling drape is 10ft or more deep.

Fix the ceiling drape on one side (left or right) first with all screws tightened with the drape folded around the track as shown in the above image.

Then - starting at one end on the other side - pull the ceiling drape over to the desired amount of sag and fasten the track screw through the drape.

Do this for the next track screw until the entire ceiling drape is suspended with all track screws

Ceiling height greater than your screen height ?

Very often you'll find that your ceiling height is greater than your screen height

which would leave a gap between the ceiling drape and the top of the screen.

In order to fix this, just extend the back of the ceiling back down to the top of the screen.
