Standard Stick-On Wall Panels

A fixed side wall is required to attach the panels

Please note that Velcro is no longer supplied with the panels

The panels come with peel and stick adhesive

that require a clean and smooth wall to stick to.

Should the adhesive not be strong enough for your application,

then Velcro or strong industrial adhesive should be used

Size of panels

Each panel is 10 x 24 inches (rounded)

= 240 sq inches = 1.66 sq ft

How to calculate how many panels you will require

1. measure the height and width of the wall (or area) you want to cover in feet

e.g. 9ft high x 10ft wide

Total sq footage is thus 9 x 10 = 90 sq ft

2. Divide the sq footage by the sq ft size of the panel

e.g. for a 24' x 10" panel that has a sq footage area of 1.66 sq ft

90/1.66 = 54 panels

e.g. for a 24" X 24" panel that has a sq footage area of 4 sq ft

90/4 = 22 panels

1 panel to cover an area of 1.66 ft

How to cut the panels down to size

In order to achieve a flush finish for the area you're covering, you may have to cut the panels on the edges down to size.

For walls, this is normally only the very top or bottom panels.

For ceilings, this is normally only the very right or left panels.

How to cut the hi-end fabric panels down to size

In order to achieve a flush finish for the area you're covering, you may have to cut the panels on the edges down to size.

For walls, this is normally only the very top or bottom panels.

For ceilings, this is normally only the very right or left panels.

The following method is recommended for the hi-end fabric covered panels.

1. using a straight edge, mark or cut a line on to the hardboard backing where you want to cut

2. peel back the fabric covering to the line

3. cut the foam backing down to the line

4. Using a sharp knife, score the hardboard backing

5. bend the hardboard backing along the line back and forth until it breaks off

6. Wrap the fabric covering back over the new edge and secure with additional adhesive

How to cut the pressed felt panels down to size

In order to achieve a flush finish for the area you're covering, you may have to cut the panels on the edges down to size.

For walls, this is normally only the very top or bottom panels.

For ceilings, this is normally only the very right or left panels.

As these panels are solid, the only way to cut them down is with a saw blade.

Essentially, you just draw a cut line on the panels and saw down the line.

The material is super easy to saw through though so shouldn't be a problem

Felt and Fabric Panel Mouting

Use Liquid Adhesive to mount fabric covered panels to the walls.

Use EZ Stick Pro to mount foam panels to the wall or ceiling.

You can also use Velcro for the fabric covered panels.

The big advantage being, you can remove them easily.

Mounting ceiling panels

Due to the constant downward pull on ceiling panels,

screws should be used to securely mount panels on the ceiling.

Compressed felt ceiling panels have recessed holes in them for this purpose.

Soft panels will absorb the screws so that they are barely visible.
